This Fair Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service, so breaking it breaks the Terms. It covers netus.ai and its free tools, Netus AI Writer (app.netus.ai), Netus AI Chat (chat.netus.ai) and the video downloader (netus.ai/video-downloader). “Netus AI”, “we” and “us” mean the company that owns Netus AI, named in section 10. “You” means anyone who uses them.
At a glance
- Use Netus AI for real work, including commercial work, within your plan’s credits and limits.
- Use it honestly. Don’t use Netus AI to deceive, cheat, harm others or break the law.
- One person, one account. No free-credit farming, no sharing or reselling accounts, and no getting around limits.
- No bots. No scraping or other automated access, ever.
- AI detector results are estimates. Never use them as the only basis for a decision about a person.
- If something goes wrong, we may warn you, limit or pause your account, or close it. You can ask a person to review our decision by emailing support@netus.ai or using our contact page.

1. Why we have this policy
We want Netus AI to stay fast, fair and safe for everyone. Every request to an AI model costs us money, and everyone shares the same capacity. This policy explains how to use Netus AI fairly, what limits apply, and what happens if someone misuses it.
2. What fair use means
Fair use is normal personal or business use within your plan. Commercial use is allowed.
Credits are your main limit. When your credits run out, you can’t generate more until your plan’s credits are refreshed, you upgrade, or, on a paid Netus AI Chat plan, you buy a top-up. We never charge you automatically for going over your credits.
3. Limits
The limits below may change. The app and our pricing pages always show your plan’s current credits and main limits.
3.1 Credits on each plan
The credits each plan includes are shown on our pricing pages and in your billing settings. In Netus AI Writer, what an action costs is fixed by the tool and the length of your input. In Netus AI Chat, it depends on how much text the AI model processes, so any cost shown in advance is an estimate. Costs can change (see section 5 of our Terms of Service).
3.2 Free plans

On every Netus AI Chat plan, including Free, each file you attach to a chat message can be up to 50 MB (some models accept less).
3.4 Teams (Netus AI Chat)
Team owners and admins can set a credit limit for members. When a member reaches it, we email them.
3.5 Free tools and the video downloader
The free tools on netus.ai and the video downloader have usage limits, for example per day or per minute, which we may change at any time without notice.
3.6 Rate limits
Our apps limit how many requests you can make in a short time, to keep Netus AI responsive for everyone and to prevent abuse.
4. What you must not do
4.1 Illegal or harmful content
Don’t use Netus AI to create, upload, share or help with:
- anything illegal;
- child sexual abuse material (we report it where the law requires);
- intimate images of anyone without their consent;
- harassment, threats or hate;
- malware or hacking;
- fraud, scams or phishing;
- spam;
- cheating in exams, tests or assignments;
- anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property; or
- collecting or exposing other people’s personal information when you have no right to.
4.2 Deception and misuse of AI
- Don’t use Netus AI or its outputs to deceive anyone, for academic dishonesty, or in a way that breaks any law, including laws on labelling AI-generated content.
- Don’t create fake reviews or testimonials, and don’t impersonate real people.
- You’re responsible for how you use what Netus AI produces.
4.3 The AI detector
Results from our AI detector are estimates, not proof, and they can be wrong. Don’t use them as the only basis for an academic, disciplinary, employment or similar decision about a person.
4.4 Accounts and credits
- One account per person. Don’t share, sell or rent out your account, or create extra accounts to get more free credits.
- Don’t get around credit limits, rate limits or the limits on our free tools.
4.5 Automated access
Don’t use bots, scripts or scrapers on Netus AI, run load tests against it, or reverse-engineer it (except where the law allows it). Automated access of any kind is not allowed.
4.6 Connected apps (Netus AI Chat)
- Connect only accounts you’re allowed to use, and respect the data of other people in them.
- Don’t hide instructions in content you connect or share (sometimes called “prompt injection”) to make the AI leak someone’s data or act in their accounts.
4.7 Rules of the AI providers
The companies behind the AI models you use have their own usage policies, and those apply too.
4.8 The video downloader
- Download only content that you own or have permission to download.
- Follow the rules of the site the content comes from.
- We may block certain sources or content, for example adult content.
5. How we check
Most checks are automatic: credit and plan limits, rate limits, blocks on some email addresses to prevent abuse, bot checks on our free tools, and a 30-day wait before an email address from a deleted account can sign up again.
We don’t read your content as part of normal operations. A member of our team looks at specific data, only as much as needed, to investigate abuse or suspicious activity, or when you ask us to (see section 3.5 of our Privacy Policy). Sign-in codes, access tokens for connected apps and other credentials are never part of any review.
6. What we may do
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may:
- warn you;
- limit features, credits or requests;
- pause (suspend) your account;
- close your account; or
- block accounts and sign-ups from email domains used for abuse.
Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to respond. For serious abuse, where the law requires it, or when an automatic check applies (see section 5), we may act without warning.
If we close your account because you broke this policy, you won’t get a refund, except where the law requires one (see sections 7 and 14 of our Terms of Service).
7. If you think we got it wrong
Email support@netus.ai or use our contact page, and a person will review it. Replies can take up to 7 days.
8. Reporting abuse
If you see someone misusing Netus AI, or content made with Netus AI that infringes your rights, tell us at support@netus.ai or through our contact page.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy in the same way as our Terms of Service; see section 16 of our Terms of Service.
